Another week has come and gone.  I can't believe how fast this transfer is going.  What a blessing.  It has been raining here for like the last week which has made life a little harder.  But we take it and plan accordingly.  We have been working a lot on finding and trying all means possible to find more people to teach.  Its a hard work, but it will be good.  We also learned the importance of ensuring that people are ready to be baptized and that they understand what it means to be a member.  Its not easy and it is definitely a higher standard of living.  But the blessings are always worth it.  I don't have a ton of time.  But know I love you all.  Thank you so much for you love and support!  See you all in 10 months haha

Puppies. bugs and Black Sea

Thank you Alicia and John for writing me!  I loved hearing from both of you.  Glad to hear things are going so well, and Alicia thank you so much for the pics.  You are beautiful.  So today is my 8th month mark!  I cant believe I have been out that long.  I almost half way through it all.  Time just seems to fly by.  I love it though.  There are definitely things that I am looking forward to about being home.  But I know I still have more to learn and I cant wait to experience more.

This week we had a crazy rain storm that was like a monsoon.  It was so much fun to be out in.  But naturally we were soaked by the time we got to the church haha.  so we turned the heat up and tried to dry off as much as possible.  Fun times.  Also it is baby season.  Which means that there are puppies, kittens and little chicks all over the place!!  I love it.  it makes me so happy.  they are all so cute.

As far as the work.  It is going.  A little slow right now.  But we are making calls and trying to set up lessons and get new investigators.  Hopefully things will pick up soon.  But I know the Lord will bless us.  We are kind of counting on that haha.  So we are working hard and trying to all be can to receive the blessings we can.  Well I need to go.  But I love you all!  Have a great week!

So I am in Constanta now!  The Black Sea is absolutely beautiful and the members here are super sweet.  It was really hard to leave Chisinau, especially the Russian Elders that have been so supportive, but I am supposed to be here.  By the way before I forget- Happy Birthday Alicia Draper!!!  I believe your birthday was yesterday.  One year older and wiser now :)

Anyways, so I got pictures of me, now that I got the pictures from some of the other missionaries.  Anyways, so life is good.  I have one of me in front of the Black Sea, but I am going to get another one because I don't like it haha.  Anyways, so those are coming.  But life is good here.  Sora Cottam is a hard worker, but neither of us know the language super well, so have to have people explain A LOT.  But it is a great learning experience.  We will definitely be relying on the Lord this transfer.  That is good.  But Constanta shows a lot of promise, we just need to follow the spirit.

Yeah, so that is my life.  I miss Chisinau like crazy, but Constanta is beautiful and I feel blessed to be able to serve here.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day.  It was so much fun to call home!  Also, Good luck to Matt and Andrew Woodruff who leave this week for their missions!  I am so excited for them.  Work hard and the time flies.

Anyways, I love you all!

Constanta & the Black Sea

Okay so it took us a while to figure things out, but I am now in Constanta and the weather is perfect.  Oh and I get to call home tomorrow!  I will be calling at 5pm here which is about 7am in California.  So be prepared.  I wont have the chance to call before hand, so just make sure you are logged into Skype.  I will call moms account and I will try to call Matt's to figure out if we can do a conference call.  Sora Cottam is calling an hour before me.  I think that is about it.  It is very pretty here and I have seen the Black Sea a couple of times, but we don't go down there because of all the naked people ha.  Anyways I will make sure to get pictures.  OK so I will be calling tomorrow at 5pm Romanian time.  See/talk to you then!!

Note from Krissy's mom :
Krissy just sent a few pictures today with no letter but the above letter came on Saturday.  The family got to Skype with her. She sounds great! She loves her mission and loves all the people she has met in Romania and Moldova.  She asked that I send her tourist information on Constanta being as they have to stay away from the beach.  When ever they ask the people in Constanta what there is to do and see in town, she is told to go to the beach. lol. Constanta is located on the Black Sea and has a great history going back to the Romans. Her new companion, Sora Cottam is from Wales, Utah and was in the missionary training center in Provo, Utah with her.

all the pictures are from Chisinau, either pdays or service days, or days when we had crazy awful times and made it better with banana splits haha  Also there is a picture from our Skype call.

So I will be traveling to the beautiful beach city of Constanta where I will be serving for the next six weeks with Sora Cottam.  It will be a great city to serve in.  It is just sad to leave Chisinau.  I feel really blessed to have served here.  I have met some amazing people that I love so much.  I will miss them, but now is a time to change and to learn more.  My travel plans will be posted below kind of funny ha.

Your twelve weeks in Moldova are drawing swiftly to a close.  The sinister Moldovan immigration agents are closing in. As you throw your belongings into your trunk your eyes dart around the room looking for anything you may have forgotten, you notice your sonic screwdriver.  You snatch it up and rush out the door, knowing that there’s no turning back now.  Time is running out, get to your TARDIS before it’s too late (you know when that is), make sure not to forget your companion.  And for goodness sake, make sure not to leave the brakes on.  You should materialize in Bucuresti on Wednesday morning, which means you’re safe... for now.  You’ll have to bid farewell to your current companion and find a new one....  May I suggest Sora Cottam?  She’ll want to take the first maxi-taxi heading to Constanta.  But you should probably just take the TARDIS again, it’ll be quicker that way.

Other than that this week has been good.  We worked hard and it went by really fast.  But life is good and you just got to keep on moving.  I love you all and I hope that all is well.  Thank you for the emails and for all your love and support.

April 30, 2012

Hey everyone!  This week has been crazy.  But first I want to start off with a random question that I would love someone to answer for me.  Can bees sting spiders, or do spiders eat bees.  If anyone has this answer I would love to hear it.  I was just thinking this week and I thought you all would be the people to ask.  So next thing.  Sam Bergin I met your sister.  She is cool, just thought you would like to know that haha.  OK so onto the events of the week.  So We had another crazy week but on Wednesday we had exchanges to I went to Iasi (in Romania) and served with Sora Bennett.  It was a good learning experience but I love Chisinau.  Also there were some issues at the border so we couldn't end exchanges until Sunday.  It was a little stressful especially since that double the length of the exchange, but I learned more and got some cool pictures.  I am very happy to be back in Moldova though.  That actually took up my week.  But it was cool and a good experience.  Transfers are next week which I am really bummed about (because I love it here) but I know I will go where the Lord wants me to go.  It was kind of nice to be able to understand church again ha.  Life is good and I am happy.  You cant really beat that.

I love you all and I hope you are all doing well.  Take care and be safe.  Also thanks for any updates on things going on or people.  I really appreciate it.

Love,

Sora Krissy Hall

PS- so the pictures are of Iasi and how there are so many churches there.  There is also a gypsy cart and the beautiful tulips that are all in bloom at the parks.  Iasi really is beautiful

This week has been crazy!  We have had lessons all day long all week.  It is great, just exhausting.  I didn't think I could get any more exhausted, but apparently I can ha.  We have a few more investigators this week but mostly it has been first lessons.  I don't really remember a ton of what happened this week haha.  But I know that I am happy and that I wouldn't change a thing right now.  I am not really looking forward to transfers just because of how happy I am.  But I know that Lord knows where I will need to go next so I can learn and grow.  So life is good.  Plus it is warming up which I love.  I just love walking everywhere because it is so beautiful .

Thank you so much for all your love and support.  I really appreciate it.  I would not be out here still without the love and support of those that I love.  You are all really a blessing to me.  Keep up the great work and know that I love you all!

PS- so we went to the place where Moldova was dedicated yesterday which is where the pictures are from.
