Happy Easter everyone!! If you didn't know, here we celebrated Easter yesterday, instead of last week. One of the amazing things that we were able to do was go to the Orthodox midnight mass and light candles with other members of the community. It was beautiful!! The church was so ornate and the ceremony was amazing. I am so grateful that I was able to have that experience and be a part of that cultural event. We were even on national TV which was cool haha. This last week has been wonderful. I love my companion and we work together so well. We have a few new investigators and we have been able to see some amazing changes in less actives. I feel really blessed. I also got a wonderful package this week because President Hill came up for interviews. Inside was CDs, Musli and Dr. Pepper! I loved it. We have been listening to our new CDs pretty much constantly. It has been great. Interviews went well and no worries, I'm not going home haha.

We also had district conference this weekend where our area seventy came and spoke. The topic of almost all the talks was less active work which was cool. We also got some amazing news for the members here in Moldova. Balti which is up north is now a branch and Chisinau is going to be getting an actual building. We are in a villa type thing now, so they are looking for the land that we can build a stake center type building on. I am so excited for everyone here! So we have more goals and good incentive to keep working hard and building and strengthening the church here. It will be worth it, it always is.

Well thank you so much for the lovely letters this week from Jen, Opie, Dana Kendall, John Woodruff, and Aunt Debi. They brought me so much joy! I love you all and | really appreciate hearing from all of you!

Love,

Tatiana!!! Thank you so much for your letter. I have found what may be a vampire I am just working on trying to get a picture of him. haha Also thanks for the updates I love it!! Okay so this week has been great. We became more united as a district and even went bowling last pday. It was a lot of fun. We are working hard with less actives right now and getting ready for English to start up again. It feels so rewarding to meet up with less actives and to try to learn more about these people and help remind them why they joined the church. The weather has been beautiful up until yesterday when a crazy wind and rain storm came in. But it still smells nice and things are going green! It is the first time I have seen green things since I got into the mission field! So basically life is good. I love my companion, Sora Bedebone. We work really well together and it has been a wonderful transfer so far. I feel really blessed right now. I hope that everyone is doing well and had a great Easter. We didn't celebrate it here because it isn't until next week here. So that will be a lot of fun! Take care and know that I love you.

PS- So I don't know if I mentioned before but I finished Jesus the Christ and I would just like to suggest it to everyone. I have such a better understanding of Jesus Christ and who he was and is. It has been such a blessing. So read it. haha.

Pictures: A couple of my favorite missionaries here. Elder Tefft (who dyed his hair red while trying to get it to its natural color after bleaching it haha) and the lovely Sora Stark (my dream companion hah) and of course me! Pictures taken in Bucharest the end of March 2012.

Yay for transfers and for conference weekend! That means relatively little lessons occurred this week, but it was still very spiritually uplifting. Transfers were wonderful and I love my new companion, Sora Bedebone. It was really just wonderful to catch up with people and see the people I love and can be my true self around here. After that we headed back to Chisinau and Saturday I got to see my first baptism since I have been out. It was wonderful! Her name is Jane and the Russian Elders have been teaching her the gospel, while we taught her English (and emphasized the gospel). It was wonderful and she just looked so happy.

Now for conference. We were able to watch it in English which was really a blessing. I loved Eyring's talk for Saturday morning session. It just brought a lot of peace to me and just re-energized me. I feel like one of the hardest things about being here, especially in Chisinau is that I don't get a ton from church, mainly since it is in Russian and we don't always have translation for other meetings other than Sacrament. I miss that a lot. So hearing conference in English was wonderful.

Other than that I have had to take the reins this week and try to set up lessons. This has been a wonderful learning experience in that I have realized that I know a lot more Romanian than I thought I did. What a great thing to realize. The Lord has really blessed me and I am grateful that I have been able to see that.

Shout outs: Thank you to all who sent me letters that I got on transfer (ie- Alicia and mom and dad, and Aunt Debi). Thanks for the emails this week from Dana and Lauren. I really appreciate them.

K. Love you all. Have a wonderful week!
